The first time I made this, I looked at my husband and said, "You endeavor it first." He in turn, like little Mikey, said, "I own't trying information technology starting time, you endeavor information technology." Since then, we have discovered nosotros really like this for a modify of pace, and it is slap-up to take to a covered dish dinner. I double everything and broil it in a 9X13 glass baking dish, and instead of using the buttermilk biscuits, I use two cans of cresent rolls/ 1 can unrolled will fit the lesser perfectly, and the other for the acme crust. Before filling with the meat mixture, I bake the bottom crust about 5 minutes offset. I too added some cumin and ceyenne pepper only to jazz it up some, and often employ a variety of cheese, whatever I take on mitt at the fourth dimension.

fantabulous!!! My husband loves this then much he's told me to never forget this recipe!!! I will brand 1 change though, I will defninitely pre-cook the biscuits until they are Most done, then I make the recipe. 2nd time I made this, the top layer of biscuits weren't quite done underneath (the middle ones), and I don't think I'll leave it to risk. This is a very versatile recipe. I added a layer of cottage cheese mixed with shredded cheddar and information technology was delicious!!! I highly recommend this recipe!!!! I also recommend making them with the "grands" rolls as they are and then skilful and flaky!!! leftovers?? what leftovers???

I tweaked this a bit as well, I used cheddar and mozerella cheeses, calculation 3/4 cup to the meat mixture. I also added 1 ane/2 cans love apple sauce. The chili pepper and sour foam were wonderful. Instead of can biscuits, I made my own, dissever the dough in half, rolled out the beginning half pressed, it into the bottom of an eight 1/2x11" drinking glass pan, and so added the meat mixture, more moz. cheese over the meat, so rolled out the second half of dough, pressed it over, added the chedd. and moz mixture over the height, then drizzled the remaining of the second can of tomato sauce over the top. Broiled for 25 min, and when it came out it looked like a magazine cover. Information technology was awesome! The crust, summit and lesser turned out perfect. The hubby said it was then so practiced and is a keeper for certain!

I fabricated some changes to this recipe because of the reviewers suggestions. I added corn and a tin of rotel tomatoes with chilies. I didnt take any sour cream so that was simply omitted. Even though I added tomatoes I besides added the lycopersicon esculentum sauce. I used Mexican cheese but only on the meridian. I forgot to put some in the beef mixture. (oops)And when I cooked the ground beefiness I added minced garlic instead of garlic salt. This was a expert dinner that my husband liked more than than I did. Side by side time I volition try Grands biscuits since the ones I used were too pocket-size and simply didn't requite enough crust. I will make this once more and probably do it the same way as I did tonight.
09/05/2003
I sprinkled garlic powder on the basis beef while browning it instead of calculation garlic table salt at the finish. I also baked the bottom layer of biscuits for 7 minutes before calculation the rest of the ingredients. This was a wonderful meal with lots of flavour!
05/06/2003
I baked the crust earlier hand like other people suggested. I and then filled and broiled it, turned out great! Reminds me of a comfort food. Thank you for the recipe
05/11/2003
This was groovy. I also doubled the recipe and put it in a 9X13 pan instead and it worked out well. I also used the Pillsbury crescent rolls for the top and bottom. Information technology was like eating chili in a biscuit! I volition exist making this i again and again.
03/07/2002
We were surprised at how skilful this was. I think next time I volition add more ingrdients for filling. It was a little on the bready side.
03/21/2008
WOW!!! I made this for my married man tonight and he ate 3 helpings and is now sitting on the couch rubbing his stomach :) I used about a tablespoon of taco seasoning, probably a bit more, I don't measure very often. I too added a can of corn and kidney beans. Definately bake the bottom layer of biscuits for a scrap outset or else they won't get done. My husband said this is definately a keeper!
05/xiii/2003
This was good!!!! Well, as written it may not be the leanest dish in the world, but I did make information technology at least a piddling healthier. I used ground turkey, whipped low fatty cottage cheese in lieu of the sour cream and omitted the egg. I added a few more than seasonings and used pepper jack cheese in the mixture but topped the biscuits with parm. For me, i can of tomato sauce wasn't plenty and I could have used more biscuits, but I made exercise. We all actually enjoyed this!
07/22/2002
Crawly! AWESOME! AWESOME!! I have made this twice so far with excellent results. I sprinkled my cheese on before adding the top layer of biscuits. I as well jazzed it upwardly with chopped green and carmine bell peppers. Information technology is even amend warmed up the next day! Thanks

I tried, then reviewed, this recipe in 2001 and gave it 3 stars. I recently gave it another try and it came out better! Either the recipe was modified since and so, or I was comatose when I beginning read the instructions. True comfort nutrient. My only suggestion: bottom layer of rolls is not necessary.
06/09/2004
Information technology sure tasted meliorate than it looked or sounded! Had expert ratings and reviews so I idea I'd requite information technology a attempt and I'm glad I did. I did accidentally apply green onions instead of regular, simply still turned out groovy!
03/03/2012
I've fabricated this recipe for years and love it. You can put any you similar in the meat (serrano peppers or mushrooms or corn, etc). I've always used Grands biscuits and stretched them out a bit to encompass the top and lesser. A great southern dish.
05/03/2005
Very good...quick and easy dinner. My changes: 1lb. beef-this was enough, lots of fresh garlic, 4oz.tomato sauce, a drained can of Rotel and cumin. I did pre-bake the lesser chaff about 5minutes and layered the extra cheese (mexi-alloy) on top of the beefiness mixture with the biscuits on top. Browned up beautifully, no sogginess anywhere. Served with fresh fruit salad and corn. Whole family enjoyed, non likewise spicy for my girl and almost spicy enough for me!
05/31/2004
My hubby and children LOVED this recipe and I loved it because I already had all of the ingredients on paw. I used a packet of taco mix and an 8-oz can of tomato sauce in the ground beef- That provided only the right amount of spice for us. I also used cheddar cheese, which tasted swell. My husband has asked for this dish to go a staple.
eleven/06/2003
Very good and easy! I used Boca crumbles instead of ground beef and cheddar cheese. Will make again!
08/06/2002
This is a new family unit favorite meal! My hubby keeps bugging me to make some more. I might add some diced tomatoes next time just because I'm curious. But I highly recommend this one!
10/26/2012
Really good. Did a Mexican themed version of this. Basically, made a chili base with ruddy kidney beans, tomato plant paste, salsa, and added the secondary ingredients, (egg, sour cream, cheese) according to recipe. With these alterations, it is a 5* dish.
04/xiv/2002
Delicious! Every bit always when I need a great recipe, I manage to notice something on this website. I wanted a 'ground beef something' the other night and decided to attempt this recipe. Information technology was soooo good! I just had a smaller can of biscuits, so used them on the bottom and just used a mix of cheddar and monteray jack cheeses on the superlative. I too used Rotel instead of green chiles. It was and so skillful that I couldn't quit eating it! I will exist making this soon as a potluck dish for work as I told anybody how good it was the next day. The only trouble with the recipe now will be waiting on information technology to finish baking and so we can eat!
09/05/2002
This recipe tasted peachy! Withal, information technology was very ugly looking. My family had to be convinced to try it. I'll take to prepare it up a footling bit to try to brand it await a little more appetizing, maybe it needs a little flake more than biscuits on tiptop if using a 9x13 dish. Tastes great though! Cheers!
01/26/2004
This recipe is and so flavorful even so mild. We telephone call information technology "Taco Pie." It has been 3 years since I found this recipe. Both my 2- and 5-year old love it! I don't know anyone who dislikes this meal. It'southward the best! My only tweaks are to use 1/two tsp seasoned salt and 1/2 tsp garlic powder instead of garlic table salt; and to utilize a full 4 oz can of mild diced light-green chiles. Too, you do non need to bake the beige chaff beforehand. You just flatten the biscuit halves until they are less than 1/2" thick when they are all flattened into a unmarried large circle in the bottom of the pie dish. It is never doughy, and always turns out delicious! I only disagree nigh the number of servings this dish makes-- two pies serve 4 adults and 3 under 5's with a slice to spare.
09/25/2002
This was out of this world! Made information technology with Cayenne Pepper and added a picayune more kick to it! Outstanding!
03/06/2002
Loved it! I used crescent rolls instead of biscuits (1.v cans). I besides baked the bottom layer a little before adding filling. Yummy!
02/xiii/2004
Yum! We actually enjoyed this dish for dinner this evening. I didn't have green chile peppers only I did utilise a can of diced tomatoes with greenish chille peppers. I didn't accept the larger tin of biscuits but I made due with the smaller size and information technology came out just fine. The bottom crust was probably thinner than normally prepared, but we liked it that mode. I sliced the biscuit into thirds. Information technology will definitely exist served in our home again. Thanks for sharing.
02/xx/2008
This was a great recipe, yet, just by looking at the ingredients, it seems it would be bland. I added 3 times as much garlic salt and ii times as much chili powder, and it turned out just great. I'm sure it would have been bland with the ingredients listed though, as some people say. Information technology tasted alot similar sloppy joes, however, the twist was the biscuits! Great thought there. Besides the spices, I used a jalapeño pepper instead of the Republic of chile pepper, and kept everything else the same (well, too the garlic common salt & chili powder). I also cooked the bottom layer for 5 minutes beforehand, every bit some people warn. I give it four stars, corking recipe. Oh btw, this feeds four people as a whole repast, not ten!
x/16/2002
I didn't intendance for this much but my married man did. I used Pillsbury'due south Golden Corn biscuits for a Mexican flavour and served information technology with lettuce, diced tomatoes, and sour cream. I thought the amount of breading was overwhelming and the meat mixture lacked some flavour. In that location seemed to be a discrepancy with one of the ingredients. I bought a 17 oz. tin can of biscuits (not x oz. equally the recipe calls for) and had less biscuits than what the recipe indicated. It all worked out and I used all merely one of the biscuits using an 8 inch pie pan. I won't be making this once again unless my husband actually wants it.
09/21/2002
This is 1 of the all-time tasting "throw together" casseroles that I have ever made or eaten. Simply Succulent!! Thank you lot!
01/xv/2002
This was delicious and and so easy to make. I printed the recipe earlier I left for piece of work and my hubby surprised me by having it ready when I got dwelling house. A truthful comfort food that just makes your breadbasket feel warm and cozy after eating. My daughter rated it 12 stars!
03/06/2003
My husband and I beloved this recipe. It works great with Colby-Jack cheese too, instead of simply plain Monterey Jack. I as well add some garlic powder for a trivial actress spice.
01/12/2002
This recipe was a disappointment! Information technology was really bland, and the beige topping got very hard. I'grand tossing this recipe!
09/20/2003
This was good, not bully. Information technology is skillful culling if you are looking for beef something and want a alter. It would accept been 5 stars if in that location was corn it it. The flavor is tasty simply slow afterward the commencement few bites, so I recollect corn will practice the trick to add some umph. I will be making this once again, merely with corn. I'll let you lot know how it turns out.
06/04/2001
My family (v teenagers) loved this dish! Equally did the neighbors! Information technology was easy, very tasty, and filling. We upt the recipe to 20 servings. The kids want to know how soon they can have it again!
12/08/2002
I tried this recipe last dark and found it to be very tasty. I changed it only a lilliputian, I added chili oil besides as the chopped chili peppers. I also added monterey jack cheese with jalapeno peppers. I used a 9x13 pan and used ii cans of seven.v oz of biscuits. Information technology was a hit. Give thanks you for the recipe.
08/29/2004
Both my husband I liked this--good flavor. Although, I idea the egg with the ground beefiness gave the beef kind of a weird consistency--I might exit that out next time.
05/29/2002
This was so good. Anybody in my family had two helpings. My husband even wanted thirds. When we were done my four year former ran around the business firm saying yummy. She renamed the dish taco pie. Thank you for the great recipie.
04/30/2002
Very proficient. I added a half cup of kidney beans to the meat mixture.
12/15/2004
I dearest this recipe...I lost information technology and institute it again. Its a staple in our home!! I modified it a little to arrange our palate, I utilize green pepper instead of chili pepper, add together a can of tomato sauce, and I use nearly a tablespoon of chili powder.
05/fourteen/2004
My husband and I love this elementary goulash. I make the recipe just as information technology is, with the add-on of some frozen corn to the meat mixture, and occasionally I will utilize jalepenos if I don't take chilis on manus. The make of biscuits I buy but has 8 in a package, so in order to make a nice chaff, I cut the biscuits in half and spread them on the bottom of the dish. So I evenly identify the biscuit tops over the meat mixture. It doesn't matter if the biscuits have gaps between them on either layer.
03/22/2001
I volition non make this over again and I'thou throwing out the leftovers.
02/28/2001
I substituted ane/4 loving cup diced green peppers for the green chilies. I advise to lightly grease the pie pan and so the biscuits don't stick. Use a thin layer of biscuits on bottom - for they did not melt completely and were gooey. My eighteen month old LOVED it - then did my husband.
02/07/2004
LOVED IT!! I didn't have sour foam, so used 1/2 c. refried beans, added corn and cumin after reading ALL the reviews! I used crescent roll dough--prebaked the "lesser crust" as suggested--I call up side by side time I'll just put a height chaff of crescent rolls--don't know why some reviews said it didn't expect good--it looked Delicious and aureate! Married man and friends loved it, too!!
01/x/2006
I thought this was bully. I accept a picky daughter, then made her's in a divide pan, without the onion and green chiles (canned, chopped). She loved this dish!!! Rarely encounter her Love anything! Proficient Job.
06/thirteen/2005
Very good. I made information technology with crescent roll dough because I was out of regular biscuits and information technology came out very well that way. Would recommend for a quick night dinner.
01/27/2005
Really good comfort food. I used some chopped up blood-red bell pepper instead of the green chili considering that'south what I had. I used cheddar cheese. I, similar others, had to add extra spice, almost i 12/ tablespoons chili powder and a few drops of hot sauce, to jazz it up a bit. It was nifty and will definitely be a mutual meal in our house. Kind of a twist on the sloppy joe!
03/05/2008
This is one of my husbands favorites! I will use one lb. of extra lean beef then add a tin of kidney beans for protein and fiber without the fat.
04/29/2008
It was decent. I didn't accept any green chilis or sour cream, and so I used a pocket-sized 8 oz can of salsa verde for the spicy kick and I melted in some cream cheese in place of the sour cream. It turned out well. I too added a can of corn for a trivial something extra. I ended upward not putting biscuits on the bottom, I can only imagine an undercooked soggy mess, and so I prebaked them half way so put them on top. Information technology turned out to be quite a comforting repast and was fifty-fifty better the next day.
11/12/2007
This is a big hitting at my house, especially with the guys. The last fourth dimension I made it, I switched up the sauce and made a BBQ sauce with ketchup, mustard, brown sugar and vinegar to sense of taste. And so connected with recipe as written - YUM!
04/22/2006
This recipe is both tasty and easy to set up. Virtually chiefly even my picky kids liked it! We substituted chipotle chili powder for regular chili powder which gave the meat a nice flavor. Following the suggestion of others we used two cans of crescent rolls and baked the bottom layer for about five minutes. Nice to have found a recipe that the whole family unit likes.
03/29/2013
Let me get-go by proverb that the dish tasted really good. It actually did. My family unit even agreed. But I had a hard time getting them to fifty-fifty endeavour it. It did non *await* practiced and they couldn't go by that. I could and really enjoyed it. I didn't take the refrigerated biscuit dough, so I made a double batch of Bisquick biscuits with buttermilk. I spread half the dough in the bottom of the pan and pre-broiled it. And so I topped information technology with flattened balls of biscuit dough. I won't be making this again, not because I didn't similar it, but because I don't think my family will want to touch on it over again. Too bad.
09/21/2010
I fabricated this recipe for my Daddy on a trip home recently and he loved it! He never e'er compliments food, yet he did this one. I made a few slight changes (don't we all) but not much. I used one jalepeno instead of the pepper, fresh garlic (with the beef) and salted it myself, a pizza cheese and light sour foam. The next mean solar day he even came home for lunch instead of going out and heated some of the leftovers up. I will definitely be making this again (though I might try crescent rolls, as one other reviewer mentioned). I might also add a little more spice to it, as I really like spicy stuff. Cheers for sharing!
07/23/2008
The kids and I loved this dish! I actually doubled everything and broiled it in a 9x12 casserole dish. I didn't take whatever green chile so I used bong and jalepeno peppers. Information technology was fast, easy and kids loved the fact they were able to assistance.
10/07/2004
A quick supper dish that is nice and filling. I'm only giving it three stars, because I establish it to accept average sense of taste - and my family didn't rave over it much.
10/xi/2006
I really had loftier hopes for this recipe. It sounded so good. This didn't get over very well at my house. I won't brand it again.
x/04/2002
This dish is very rich and delicious! My husband and kids (who are very picky) loved it!
01/15/2002
I idea this recipe was great. I used green peppers instead of the dark-green chiles. I seasoned the ground beef with garlic powder and consummate seasoning and I used the cheese i had which was Mozarella and Cheddar and it turned out awesome. Cheers for sharing this recipe with us!!! My 2 kids, 3 and 1 really liked it also.
02/10/2006
My family loved information technology!! My four year onetime had three helpings. I doubled recipe and used 9x13 glass blistering dish greased. Added a bundle of taco seasoning along with chilli seasoning. Prebaked bottom for half dozen minutes and I also put cheese on peak for terminal 15 minutes. Bread was not soggy the offset day or on the adjacent when I reheated.
05/17/2007
Pretty good. Young picky eaters at home ate it upward. I didn't read the reviews prior to making, only wish I had because I realize I should've flattened the dough a little more than. The bottom layer was a niggling mashy in the middle of pie plate. Volition flatten and cook a piffling longer next time.
12/26/2004
Yummy beef, just not much else. I have a taco pie recipe that layers seasoned ground beef, kidney beans, shredded cheese, crushed doritos, lettuce, and diced tomatoes on a biscuit crust. I retrieve I volition apply this recipe over again for the beef only add the other ingredients from the other recipe. Together they volition exist fantastic!
07/26/2001
my kids are fussy eaters and when i fixed this dish my kids couldn`t go enough of information technology. Even my husband loved it. Thank-you Kathy
03/23/2011
This is delicious! Not complicated, cheap ingredients. The just thing I take changed is the use of cressant rolls, suggested by some. My husband is a super picky eater, thank goodness my children are not, and he fifty-fifty agreed to add this to our dinner rotation. I dearest that information technology is fairly elementary, something I can brand b4 leaving for piece of work at night and my husband pull information technology out of the oven. I only tried this dish, what the children left anyways, THIS IS AMAZING! You lot have to requite it a take a chance you will beloved it!!!
09/19/2019
Fantastic. i cooked the lesser layer of biscuits til right before they were washed so added the innards. I didnt have green chilis, I used fresh jalapeno peppers, diced. I didnt have sour cream instead I used a package of cream cheese. I didnt measure the amount of shredded cheesez just winged it off of personal preference. I as well added chopped mushrooms only because. I was extremely surprised that it turned out as succulent as it did later on all my alterations. this recipe is super versatile.
01/03/2013

02/14/2004
We did not intendance for this at all.
xi/03/2002
This dish was pretty good. What it lacked in appearance, it fabricated upwards for in flavor. I used a tin of Rotel. I too used flaky biscuits considering they're easier to separate. I'm not sure if I will make this again or non. It was quick and like shooting fish in a barrel though.
09/24/2005
My hubby and I both enjoyed this. We idea it had a good flavour and reminded us a chip of something mexican.
eleven/08/2014
Tried this for the outset time tonight with a few minor tweaks. I substituted cream of mushroom soup for the tomato plant sauce and used Trader Joe'due south 21 Seasoning Salute instead of chili pulverisation. The result was forth the lines of beef stroganoff betwixt tasty cheesey biscuits, which was fabulous! No problems with putting the raw beige dough bottom or elevation, the cheese was the sacred glue for the whole thing. I like a little hot sauce on mine and it'southward defiantly going to be a go to in my business firm!
09/23/2007
But amazing! I made a few modifications. I broiled the lesser layer of biscuits until the were nearly done. For the beef mixture, I added about ane teaspoon of seasoned salt, onion pulverization, and oregano. I also added a picayune extra garlic pulverisation, minced garlic, and chili pulverisation.
02/01/2005
By the time I got done tweeking this, it wasn't much like the original recipe. I read all the reviews and took some tips. I added a tin of diced tomatoes with chilis as I didn't recall 8oz of tomatoe sauce was enuf for that amount of meat. I likewise put in green pepper and celery while browning the meat and onions. I besides added a Tbls of bootleg dry, taco seasoning and some garlic powder as I thot there needed more seasoning. I also added a can of rinsed kidney beans. As hubby likes them and it makes for a good filler and fiber. I used crescent rolls and pre-baked information technology for 6 min. in a 10 inch pie plate. I didn't need to every bit when I added the meat mixture, the crust started getting too brown. I didn't put the top crust on every bit I didn't desire so much dough. I served this with shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onion, taco sauce and sour cream. I don't think I could have given it a iv star rating without my tweeking, tho. I did like the creamy taste the sour cream and cheese in the meat mixture fabricated.
03/xiv/2002
This is SO skillful! My beau and I devoured it - I don't know if it would make good leftovers because we ate information technology all! I volition definatly be making this again.
08/xiii/2003
When using a 9x13 pan as ane suggested, brand sure to utilise more than 1 can of biscuits. Duh, correct! When I precooked bigandflaky ones for x minutes on the lesser first, the end result was burned bottom. Otherwise, the flavor was good, information technology just rates low on the presentation/looks.
02/05/2001
My 8 twelvemonth old son LOVED this and he usually doesn't swallow ground beef recipes. My husband loved information technology as well. Nosotros will brand it again. Thanks.
03/12/2010

01/27/2005
I've been wanting to charge per unit this recipe for a while. The offset time I made this, my boys (xiii and 11) roughshod in love with it. It's a keen recipe for (my) kids. Don't exist afraid of the dark-green republic of chile -- it doesn't arrive too spicey.
11/21/2005
I added a can each of corn and kidney beans. I substituted the green chiles for a tin can of rotel (including the juice). I used crescents instead of biscuits. We just didn't treat it. It was dry out and kind of bland. Hubby said he prefers some of the other things I have made amend. Thank you anyhow.
03/17/2004
Not bad, but non the best. A little bland, would probably doctor upwardly with some more spices ~ thanks anyway!
01/28/2005
my family actually similar this recipe. it tastes like indian tacos. the only thing i would do diff. is not put the cheese on the acme right abroad, as information technology got hard. very good. cheers
12/01/2013
Very good and easy to make. I cooked the bottom layer of biscuits for about 7 minutes before adding meat. I subbed cream of mushroom soup for sour foam. Used iii cloves of garlic when browning meat. Added Italian seasoning and cumin afterwards adding lycopersicon esculentum sauce considering meat mixture seemed bland. Will make again.

Thick, rich and YUMMY! My 20 month erstwhile even loved it. I will for sure make again... Thanks for the succulent recipe!
06/25/2001
This was a wonderful recipe! Sometimes my family isn't too excited about eating all of the things I get the gumption up to make. My son even liked it and he only likes very basic tastes and foods. It appealed to my hubby because it had the flavour of the pepper and chili powder. Only the spice wasn't so overwhelming that the kids didn't similar information technology as well. It reminded me of chili with crackers. Will definately make again.
06/24/2006
This was a flavorful dish, easy to make, and ingresdients usually on hand. I discovered after I started that I didn't have any tomato sauce, but I substituted the same amount of Cambell's tomato plant soup and it turned out well. I used regular size biscuits (not the Grande type), it took 2 cans. This would be fantastic for camping cooked in a dutch oven. Maybe endeavor a flaky biscuit or crescent curlicue?
ten/08/2006
This is a very tasty recipe. I made a few changes I followed others communication and used cresent rolls instead of biscuits, which I baked for most v minutes earlier adding the meat mixture, used canned green chiles instead of fresh, and added some cummin. Thanks for the great recipe.
02/09/2003
My hubby actually like this. I idea it was okay, I will brand once again and add some red pepper to spice it up next time.
08/28/2009
WOW!!! I fabricated information technology just like instructed with a dollop of sour cream and sliced Jalapenos on height. Good stuff! Definitely non fancy or salubrious only we had no leftovers! Permanent add-on to my box.
02/01/2004
This recipe was really adept and easy to make. My married man absolutely loved it. Y'all realy need to cook the biscuits almost all the way earlier y'all put them in the dish. I also used a piddling less meat, and added some Mild Italian Sausage. I used minced garlic instead of garlic salt. I too used a picayune cajun seasoning and cumin. This recipe is really a keeper...
04/xviii/2003
Very fast very good. I was amazed how flavorful it was and how easy it would be to fix for a large group of people.
03/22/2005
DH and I both enjoyed this. Information technology was virtually like a sloppy joe pie. I did not have the chile pepper on hand, so that'southward probably why. It was still proficient, but adjacent fourth dimension I will pre-melt the bottom a bit, and I would like to attempt more veggies in it.
07/13/2001
Wonderful recipe!!! It was a big hit with the unabridged family. I did add a lilliputian more than garlic table salt. I will most definitely make this again and volition too share the recipe with friends.
10/sixteen/2007
Skilful autumn/wintertime recipe. My hubby and 2 yr old loved information technology. Really liked the flavors from the seasonings, really prissy. Adjacent time will try it w/o the egg equally I like things runny. Used ground pork for lower fat.

Very good, my hubby idea it was a little bland so Ill probably spice it up more than next time. maybe add some chiles.

The bisquits made a prissy chaff, I as well ran them up the side of the pie plate. The flavor is skillful and the cheese layer is unexpected. My family said I could make this again.

Husband and I agree...adept colder weather dish. We don't care for spicy and so used only i tsp chili pulverization and a red bell pepper in place of hot pepper.

Very skilful. I made this pretty much as directed except I used a 4oz. can of chopped green chiles and substituted cumin and ruby-red pepper considering I didn't have chili pulverization. I didn't have a problem with the biscuits being doughy. They were perfect after 28 minutes.
